Following the success of its first pilots with OM Retail’s innovation systems to optimise its stores, the Catalan retailer has trusted OM Retail again. This time Casa Ametller has installed Next to manage the chilled pizza category. This visual merchandising system with auto-facing pusher offers a dedicated version for pizzas that brings multiple advantages to the point of sale:
Casa Ametller faced a challenge in managing the chilled pizza category: pizza display (typically laid flat) needed improvement, as shoppers struggled to pick and tell the different references apart. To tackle this poor visibility, OM Retail proposed the auto-facing solution, a visual merchandising system that does not require a shelf and mounts directly onto a strength bar. The result is a clear improvement in visibility, order and accessibility of chilled pizzas.
After the successful pilot, this system for pizzas will be available across more than 30 Casa Ametller stores.
