Soriana reinvents visual communication at the checkout area together with OM Retail. The Mexican retailer steps into the self-checkout segment, bringing technology within reach of shoppers and enhancing the shopping experience.

The Soriana San Pedro store kicks off the pilot for self-checkout signage with OM Retail. Aiming to optimise the checkout operation, improve efficiency and reduce queues, Soriana trusts OM Retail for this visual communication project.

To revolutionise signage in this part of the store, Soriana has deployed several formats from our catalogue of visual communication supports:

-Overhead signage to improve navigation and make the self-checkout area easy to spot from anywhere in the store. -COVID-19 protective signage: floor vinyls marking position and safe distance, and gel dispensers to prevent COVID-19 and other infections. -Posters on furniture explaining the steps to operate the self-checkout.
